Objectives of KC College of Hotel Management's IQAC Committee are:

01. Development and Application of Quality Benchmarks

  • Form Quality Assurance Committees: Establish specialized committees to define and monitor quality benchmarks for academic and administrative activities.
  • Regular Reviews: Conduct periodic reviews to ensure benchmarks are being met and update them as needed.

02. Facilitating a Learner-Centric Environment

  • Faculty Development Programs: Organize workshops and training sessions to help faculty adopt modern teaching methods and technologies.
  • Interactive Learning Spaces: Create environments that support participatory learning, such as collaborative classrooms and online learning platforms.

03. Feedback Mechanism

  • Surveys and Feedback Forms: Develop comprehensive surveys for students, parents, and stakeholders to provide feedback on institutional processes.
  • Feedback Analysis: Regularly analyze feedback to identify areas of improvement and implement necessary changes.

04. Strengthening Industry-Academia Relations

08. Acting as a Nodal Agency for Quality Activities

09. Development and Maintenance of Institutional Database

  • Management Information System (MIS): Implement an MIS to collect, store, and analyze data related to institutional quality.
  • Data Analysis: Use data from the MIS to identify trends, strengths, and areas for improvement.

10. Development of Quality Culture

  • Quality Awareness Campaigns: Run campaigns to promote a culture of quality among students and staff.
  • Recognition and Rewards: Recognize and reward individuals and departments that contribute significantly to quality improvement.

11. Preparation of the Annual Quality Assurance Report (AQAR)

  • AQAR Team: Form a dedicated team to gather data, compile, and prepare the AQAR.
  • Compliance with NAAC Guidelines: Ensure that the report meets all NAAC guidelines and parameters.

12. IQAC as Documentation and Record-Keeping Cell

  • Centralized Documentation: Centralize all documentation and record-keeping activities under the IQAC.
